Come explore this powerful CAD tool that is FREE, open source, and offers a robust modeling platform for multiple applications! In 90 minutes you'll make a useful phone stand for yourself or a friend while learning the basics of parametric modeling. Time is allowed at the end for questions. A Zoom link will be emailed to all participants for this virtual class.

FreeCAD can be used on Windows, Mac and Linux. Please install version 0.21.2 (available on Github) prior to the start of class.

Prerequisites:

To get the most out of this FreeCAD class, a basic level of computer literacy is recommended. Participants should be comfortable using a mouse and keyboard, navigating files and folders, and working with common desktop applications. No prior CAD experience is required.
