Sewing Sundays: Mittens and Hats

Registration is closed

Each class will require a sewing machine, notions, fabric and tools. Minimal experience using a sewing machine required.
Suggested for children aged 10 and up, parent or guardian is required to also take the class.



Parent/Child Mittens and Hats

We will make a simple pair of mittens and hats.

Supplies needed:

  • 1 yard of fleece fabric will be sufficient for 2 hats and 2 sets of mittens. You may use several fabrics if you choose.
  • 1/2 yard of 1/2 " elastic
  • Thread, sewing machine, and other sewing notions

Pattern will be provided

This class will take place in person; masking is strongly encouraged by the makerspace. Please bring a mask depending on the comfort level of other participants.

If you do not own a sewing machine you may use one at the makerspace. Please let us know.
