Learn to craft this classic woodworking project alongside your fellow makers! Taught by Mike Thompson, a skilled woodworker with over a decade of experience.

What will you learn?
- Design and make a bandsaw box
- How to use multiple tools in the woodshop
- Build on your previous woodworking skills

For those new to our makerspace, your $125.00 fee covers a basic membership at the makerspace in addition to six hours of instruction. Subject to checkout availability, you may learn to use additional machines beyond the band saw such as the drill press and miter saw if you want to work on additional projects. You will also enjoy daily access to the makerspace to reserve time to work on your box in between classes. A signed waiver and membership agreement will be required for all students new to (or returning to) our makerspace 

Note you are responsible for selecting the wood of your choice; the first night's class will cover appropriate woods to use for this project.

The three classes will take place Friday evenings from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, 10/25/24 to 11/8/24. The class requires a minimum enrollment of 3 students to run.
