This course will introduce students to soldering in various formats. Students will
learn the tools, methods, and technique for joining wires (Splicing) as well as basics
for removing and replacing discrete components to PC boards.

This course will introduce students to soldering in various formats.  Students will learn the tools, methods, and technique for joining wires (Splicing) as well as basics for removing and replacing discrete components to PC boards.


We will conduct this class in person at the makerspace. Each participant will have their own printer to use and will be properly socially distanced. All participants must wear a mask while in the classroom and common spaces of the makerspace.

Participants will be asked to answer covid screening questions. If you are experiencing any symptoms or are awaiting the results of a covid test we ask that you stay home!
